The Hy Feinstein Clubhouse is a day-habilitation program which opened its doors in January 1993. This program is designed to help survivors of head injury by offering experiences and support for members to recognize their skills and interests. The Clubhouse is a program run by members, for members. Our staff works side-by-side with members to accomplish all responsibilities in running the Clubhouse.
At the Clubhouse, each member is recognized according to his or her own interests, goals and abilities. People work within the different units to increase social, educational and career skills. Members learn computer, culinary and useful office skills that contribute to maintaining the Clubhouse Program.
All work in the
Clubhouse is functionally related to
member goals and program operations.
