The work of the Head Injury Association is ongoing. In fact, the
demand for our services and programs is increasing. While in the
past a large percentage of brain injuries were fatal, that is not
the case today. Due to major advances in diagnosis, emergency response
and medical treatment, a growing number of head injury victims
now become long-term survivors. Those survivors, along with their
families, are in need of continuing treatment and support.
Our ability to provide that support is made possible in part through
the generous donations or organizations and individuals who recognize
the importance of our mission.
