The service coordinators at The Head Injury Association provide a variety of services to survivors of TBI by working in partnership with the individual to enable him or her to live and participate in the community according to personal goals, preferences and needs. In order to meet this objective, the service coordinator is responsible for locating and contracting for community services, monitoring these services and overseeing the consumers’ satisfaction with these services. They are available when issues arise to provide support, advocacy and clarification of issues.
